Trump's new America

Watching from a civilian perspective it seems as if Donald Trump has been making some very powerful moves early on. Yet this is only the beginning, a few days into his last term let's just say the country is not surprised with his actions. This is a strong start to rebuilding the country from a previously failing regime, yes, I called it a regime because this has been a tyrannical one and one only our forefathers feared.

We can see that President Trump is always looking to keep his word. In Ecclesiastes 5:5, it says “It is better not to make a vow than to make one and not fulfill it”. This shows how great presidents like Trump should and need to act. One of the executive orders he signed on the night of his inauguration, keeping his word from the Presidential race, was to deport the 10 million illegals who came during President Biden’s office.

When looking at the border, we should understand that not every illegal is an evil, horrible person. They are people. Yet, we must also understand that many who came  to our country are dangerous. There is no option but to deport them and consider strengthening the border. We should also dramatically slow down immigration to our country to allow the economy to recover and fight the crime that many have brought to our country.

President Trump has even officially recognized the cartels in Mexico as terrorist organizations, a move many before him have wanted to make but couldn’t due to concerns about straining relations with Mexico. Our people should not have to suffer because another country willingly allows the transportation of drugs and dangerous criminals across our border. Does the federal government not believe protecting our people is important? This is one of the many reasons for the existence of the federal government. We know that when it comes to President Trump and the members of the Republican party around him, this is a concern of his. He is looking to protect the people of the United States of America.

We can look south of the border and See the relentless crime committed by the cartels (terrorists) of mexico. We need to do something about this. They have been responsible for tens of thousands of deaths in the United States from drugs, kidnappings, sex trafficking. This will all stop very soon. President Trump has even spoken about using the military to deal with the cartels. Some are calling the actions taken by these groups are acts of war. Many in the United States think that this is not a serious concern, but as many of our officials have stated, and you can even see this for yourselves, the kidnappings and sex trafficking that has continued within our borders.

President Trump even stated that he is looking to end birthright citizenship, this would be to help combat illegal immigration. This should be stopped right away. While I see nothing wrong with combating illegal immigration, our forefathers strongly believed that if you are born on this land, you have lawful rights to it. This has always been the view within our borders and should permanently be a requirement of our country. It is necessary for our leaders and government to uphold this principle. Without birthright citizenship, it opens up our country to a tyrannical government that could decide who is a citizen and who isn't. We must all do our parts and ensure this doesn't happen, as it will destroy the future of our country.

I have always believed that President Trump has the right beliefs in his heart and rarely ever makes mistakes. This time, I tell you, it is one of those mistakes. Don't let it make you believe he wasn't the right guy for the job because he is. With many mistakes made by every president in the past, let it be like a learning moment for the future. The American people have always stood together, and let's not allow for that to end with the separation of our people today.

I have been looking forward to this presidency for a long time now. Ever since the last election, I've known he would win this one. This term may be the last one for Trump, but within this term, I predict that we will see the rise of the next republican leader after him. I can even see a future where maybe one of his sons becomes his successor after this term. As I said earlier in this article, this is a powerful start to his Presidency. Looking forward, I see an end to the war in Ukraine maybe, hopefully soon.
